NEW MEMBERS
Once your membership has been processed, it is necessary that ALL members complete OPSEC and Introduction to CAP Safety courses. You are encouraged to complete these courses as soon as possible. Here are what you need to do:
Go to eServices at https://www.capnhq.gov
On the page, choose Click Here to register under FIRST TIME USERS?
Fill in the required information and follow the instructions on the screen.

You will be sent a link to an email you provided to complete the registration.
OPSEC (Operation Security Awareness Training)
Upon the successful registration, you will need to login with your CAP ID (six digits ID Number from Civil Air Patrol) and your password. After logging in, you are required to complete the OPSEC training. Please follw ALL the instructions carefully until completion.
Introduction to CAP Safety
Next you may see a message similar to the one below. If so, choose Yes
If not, choose Safety Management System (SMS) from the left hand menu. It should be near the bottom. Then choose Online Safety Education on the page. Under online safety course, choose Introduction to CAP Safety as seen below:
You want the Status to indicate PASSED for this Required Safety Course. You are not required to take other safety courses found on this age. If you attend the squadron meetings regularly, safety presentation is part of the regular meeting at lease once per month. The Activities and Events Calendar for the squadron provide information on when safety presentation will occur. If you miss the safety presentation during regular meetings, you may return to Safety Management System to fulfill the requirement.
