Prospective Members

Civil Air Patrol is chartered by congress to serve as the official civilian auxiliary of the United States Air Force.

Members volunteer from all backgrounds, lifestyles, and occupations. The three main missions are Aerospace Education, Cadet Programs, and Emergency Services. In addition, CAP has recently been tasked with homeland security and courier service missions.

Cadet members range from 12 to 20 years of age, and Senior Members range from 18 years and up. Cadet and Senior Members have opportunities to serve in wide range of capacities.

McChord Composite Squadron meets on McChord Field of Joint Base Lewis McChord. Please come and visit us during one of our regular membership meetings. We meet on Tuesdays between 7 PM and 9 PM. If there are any questions, please email us at mcchordafb@wawg.cap.gov.

McChord Field is located east of I-5 (exit 125) at the end of Bridgeport Way.

  2. Make at least 3 visits to our regular Membership Meetings on Tuesdays. Sign-in on the Attendance Log to record your attendance.
